Assassin’s Creed Rise

Ubisoft® EMEA is launching the European campaign for Assassin’s Creed 3 with “RISE,” an 80-second video featuring eight characters from a battle in the middle of the American Revolution, the setting of this next installment of the game. “RISE” pays tribute to the deep and inner rise of the individual who, united with others, makes change possible, including the soldier fighting for his country, a priest struggling with his faith to follow his beliefs, a mother willing to kill to protect her children, and a lone assassin fighting for freedom and justice. Allied with people from the colonies, Connor, the son of a native American woman and an English father, becomes the pioneer of a new country, the United States. The campaign also includes digital and social media, print and outdoor elements.

The Rise campaign was developed at Sid Lee Paris by executive creative director Sylvain Thirache, creative Jules Jolly, creative director George Giampuranis, managing producer Melanie Bruneau.

Filming was shot by director Bjoern Ruehmann via Furlined, with director of photography Justin Brown, executive producer Diane McArter, senior executive producer David Thorne, producer Ewen Brown, art director Carmen Dima, wardrobe stylist Maria Miu.

Editor was Paul Hardcastle at Trim with producer Jemma Daniel.

Visual effects were produced at Electric Theatre Collective by producer Lee Pavey, compositing team Giles Cheetham, Dave Birkhill and Darren Christie, compositing assistants James Belch and Andrew Stewart.

Sound was designed and mixed at Wave Studios, and at Boogie Studio. Music is “My Body is a Cage” by Arcade Fire.
